2nd day

Today was my second day doing the C25K program.  Boy do I love this.  It is giving me so much more energy and I am already noticing that it is getting easier to run just that little bit.  I have also noticed that with doing these workouts I am not eating as much and drinking alot more. 
When I am working out i am finding it easier to think and focus ..... for some reason it seems to be clearing my head..
Anyways I can't wait til Friday.

1st Day

Today was my first day doing the C25K program.  Let me say one thing, I am not a runner at all but I was able to do the first day of the program.  I was so proud when I did it.  I think it was the best of the year so far.  My husband came with me and we did a workout together however, I really didn't pay any attention to him.  He did his own thing and I did mine.  Tomorrow I am hoping will be day number 2 for me but we will have to wait and see how my body is feeling. 
As of right now the goals that I have with the running are
1.  I want to be able to run a full 5k and hopefully run a full 10k by this time next year
2.  I want to be able to beat my sister inlaw in the 5k.

1st week working out!

So I have fully decided on my workout schedule for next week. 
Sunday - doing a workout video at home
Monday - doing the couch to 5K at the gym
Tuesday - doing the couch to 5K at the gym
Wednesday- rest
Thursday- rest
Friday- Doing the couch to 5K at the gym
Saturday- Doing a workout video at home


My goals for this next week-
1. to track everything I eat
2. to stick to the workout schedule above
3. to take a cinn pill everyday
4. to limit my starbucks intake to 3 all week
5. to try to get in at least 4 glass of water a day.


I hoping to keep posting throughout the week and let you know where I am at and what I am doing.

I am BACK

I think I am getting my act together.  Last weekend I went on vacation and spent sometime with my sister inlaw.  The first time I have felt like part of that side of the family.  Anyways my sister inlaw is doing the couch to 5k thing. I have been looking at doing it but I am worried about failing or falling which ever.  Anyways we have agreed that next June we will both run a 5k and after that we are looking at running a 10k.  I still can't believe that I am actually looking forward to working out and towards a goal.  I figure if I work my butt off I should be ready to go by the time that June rolls around.  Wush me luck.  I am planning on posting my workout plan and what I am eating on here as soon as I can.
